You may be wondering why is there nothing about Norway and the SOE here well that's because I have created a whole new blog for it one God willing without spelling mistakes. Forgiveness of God (Pre Norway)

Why oh why God are we so weak and fickle, praising you with our tongues and bodies one minute and the next heaping abuse and scorn onto your name. I find it one of the most frustrating things in the world but yet once again God shows up on the scene we tell ourselves oh I've done it now I can't be forgiven this time, but what God does next I think is one of the most amazing things ever which i think is best described by Paul in

Romans 5: 20
"..... But where sin increased, grace increased all the more"

Hey wait a minute if our relationship with God was a game of Trumps our worst rebellion is trumped by Gods ability and choosing to forgive us, interesting we can't out-trump Gods grace.

Romans 6: 1-3 "What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase. By no means! We are dead to sin; how can we live in it any longer?"

That one is a beauty. So we are dead to sin which must mean we are alive to righteousness. But that than brings up the question why do I keep sinning. My conclusion 'because I forgot how much Jesus loves me. A sad but I believe a fair conclusion. And sadder still that at times it takes sin to realise it because it is at that point we are at our most humble and honest state and this is where I find Daddy turns up and shows us that nothing has changed he is still our God and we are still his people.

2 Chronicles 7: 14 "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

Lamentations 3: 22-23 "Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

I for one am thankful that God is still rooting for me.

Returning to England

Well there we go that is it, my DTS adventure is over. I want to apologise for not keeping in better contact with you, in Africa I had very little access to internet and for the outreach I used a different blog which didn't really go as well as we hoped or planned so I am sorry if you have felt out the loop.

But what an adventure God has done so much and I have learnt so much. I want to share with you breifly three things that I will taking away with me.

1. We are all have different personalities and I struggled a lot on this DTS relationally because I was the only one who had a very forward, direct personality while everyone was literally different to me. For me this was difficult because I could not relate and it caused a lot of tension. But in this time I learnt how to let go, how to be patient, how to listen and how to submit, and God did an unbelievable healing of rejection in my life. I am quite literally not the same person anymore because of this.

2. Hearing Gods voice is easy and I was surprised at how much clarity we get. God speaks I found all the time the problem is we just put it to one side thinking it to be our own thoughts. I realised there is discernment needed in this of course, but I found the more I took risks with trusting it to be Gods voice the easier it is to discern Gods voice from your own or the enemies. This is the exciting bit, the risks I took turned out to be God speaking.

3. Gods healing power. I have seen God heal people physically, emotionally, spiritually. I have seen God before my very eyes meet peoples personal needs, such as giving them a job, or bringing their children home. Things we take for granted but to them means everything.


I want to leave you with a select list of what God gave me the pleasure of allowing to be apart of and see. Remember Philippians 4: 13 - "I can do all thing through Christ who strengthens me".


- in Parkwood (a Shanty Town in Muizenberg). I saw 3 people become Christians because God gave me the urge to ask them if they wanted to give their lives - so they did. A few days later 2 out of 3 came to Church.

- in a farming community me and a few others prayed for a mother for her son to come to know the Lord as we prayed he walked in and God asked us to invite him to become a follower and he did, we left him praying with his mother.

- a woman in Ashton (a farming community) really needed a job so we prayed. Later that day we saw her and she said she was on her way to a job interview. The next day we saw her again and she excitedly said she got the job.

- we met a mother who's little boy had been coughing for 2months and the little boy was sad and wasn't happy. So we prayed and the next morning we met her again and God overnight had healed the little boys cough and he was playing, laughing and having fun.

- I prayed for a woman with another guy to healed from arthritis which was affecting her whole body so we prayed and God mercifully healed her of it. She then started to cry so we asked her what was going on and she exclaimed that she hadn't told us about her bad back and that as she saw me and this other guy walking up her garden and as she saw us God healed her back as well.

- We prayed for a woman with bad hearing and sight and God healed her also.

- I had the pleasure of praying for a woman called Rose and as we prayed we felt the presence of God flood into that room and bless Roses's socks off. The Hoyl Spirit wont be leaving any time soon.

- In Mossel Bay in a farming community we witnessed 10 people gives their lives back to Christ.


My journey with YWAM does not end here this is just the beginning of a new chapter of my life. I am applying to do a School of Evangelism in Norway. So please pray for money to come through but also that while i wait for it to come in September that I do not forget what I have leanrt this past 6 months and I get involved and apply it back here in England to be a witness to all. And pelase ask questions I have barely scratched the surface with stories.

Miracles

Hello so I couldn't help myself adding another entry to my blog this one is dedicated purely to the first hand miracles of healing i have experienced through God, so it will continually be updated as more amazing miracles happen.

Also I learnt that anyone can heal and that healing someone isn't healing them for the sake of healing them it is out of love. The aim of a healing is not to cure cancer if they have cancer, to receive sight if they are blind, it is for the receiver to experience an encounter of Jesus. These are the encounters that produce miraculous healings but not always but that is Gods territory. Even if not it does not matter because they have met with Jesus and are changed forever. Amen.

I was a part of a group of 4 praying for two women of God. One had a troubled mind/spirit due to past abuses and this sad to say grants access to nasty evil spirits. We prayed and we saw her be restored the room physically got lighter and the atmosphere and her presence became lighter and more peaceful. It's great how seeing healings happen are not always visual but also spiritually sensing things. The second woman of God had weak knees and weak eye sight and to put it simply I saw her legs grow strong and she testified to the pain having gone and her eye sight strengthen.

We met a wonderful woman of God called Rose and she invited the whole team into her small 2 bedroom house she asked for blessings so we blessed her, and then one of our team suggested we sang so we began to sing 'Amazing Grace' and Rose just began to break down and it turned out as God showed us that she was very lonely and needed to be surrounded by Gods love and presence. So we prayed into these things with her and it was incredible how the love of God just flooded that room so quickly and myself and others received pictures, visions and scriptures for this child of God. We left Rose who was now in a state of peace and love. Her house now praise God is filled with Gods presence and it is never going to leave.

Myself and a man of God named Derek (I believe that is his spelling) went and prayed for a woman who had arthritis in pretty much every part of her body and as a result found things difficult, she also had bad eyesight. So guess what we commanded to leave her in the name of Jesus. And of course you guessed it she was healed as she commented that her eyes and her joints felt better especially in the leg where it was very bad. But what was wonderful to witness was that at the end she began to cry, we asked why and she said that as me and Derek were walking up to her house/property (this was before we even prayed for her just to note) she said that her bad back was healed. She had never told us about her back and it is just incredible that God healed her before we even got to her door.

Outreach Blog

Hi everyone i am so sorry it has been so long since my last post, as i am sure you can understand once we hit South Africa we jumped straight into ministry and it has been none stop ever since. I write this post less than 2 weeks into the outreach phase and already we have seen miraculous healings firsthand and through our hands, by the grace of God.

To give you a little run down we have seen deaf people hear, badly sighted people have their sight strengthened, lame people walk, those with troubled minds be restored to peace, those with crooked backs be made straight. PRAISE GOD. And of course we have seen people come to the Lord.

I want to encourage you that God has blessed us deeply with an anointing to bring about physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing. An anointing to see demons flee and an authority and boldness to preach the word of God fearlessly. God is doing a mighty work.

But during our outreach we all ask that you interceed for us as often as you remember. We are already being spiritually attacked because this is what happens when you do the will of God. It is different for every person, Satan knows our weak points and he will push all our buttons and more to stop us setting the captives free and healing the broken hearted. This is serious business and we need serious prayer.

The Revelation that God brings

Hello again =)
I really I wanted to share what I am about to write with you because I want to encourage you so much what happens when you take time out to pray and just be with God. To give you a bit of backgreound me and another guy at YWAM Carlisle wanted to hang out in our prayer room which I might add has an amazin anointing of Gods presence which is just what happens when you take thw time to pray in there constantly and ask God to dwell there. he honors that. Anyway we have been learning a lot about our place in Christ as sons and God just completely through our talking with each other revealed so many wonderful and challenging revelations. I hope and I pray that the Holy Spirit will open up your hearts deeply into what is written and that it too will transform your life bevcause if you take this everything changes.

Revelation One:
We are sons of Christ yet so many of us are scared to take hold of our inheritance because we are scared of what people might think, we are scared of revival because of what it could mean, revival means change. We are so concerned about persecution, being shot, being aqrrested and put in prision, tortured ect.. It is interesting though that we don't think about the persecution that starts at home with the family or our closest friends (particularly those who are Christian). What if these people we loved so much do not accept us because we choose to act in a way that is so uncomfortable in the Western Church, this radical way of living (like Jesus). Just like in the bible the first son inherits everything, as first sons in Christ so do we. We have everything now and we can do radical things through Christ., But are we scared of being rejected?


Revelation Two:
Is your sonship something you get or something you have got? ... What you believe will affect how you live, what you see and what you do. Brothers, sisters we can shape history because Christ did it all as a man. A MAN, (we will do what Christ dfid and greater things still).

Do you want to see a Donkey talk ?
Do you want to experience tounges of fire?
Do you want to raise the dead? (and I'm serious)

The Choice is yours! Do you remember the unhappy son in the story of the Prodigal son, he already had everything, he just had to use it, enjoy it. As for me I know what I want. Are you going to come with me?


Revelation Three:
The Bible is not a list of things to do and not do, it's a book full of two kinds of people. People who take hold of their inheritance (in Christ) and reap such Glory. It's also full of people who refuse to take hold of their inheritance (this especially includes those of us who are Christian) and they reap the consequences of their action or lack of action.
1 - The bible is our inheritance and what it looks like.
2 - Not taking hold of your inheritance in sin.


Revelation Four:
If the four living creatures we read about in Revelation who are flying around Gods throne since the beginning of time crying "HOLY HOLY HOLY" and are not getting bored. How much better will it be for us!


Revelation Five:
Ourn very presence for those of us in Christ emit/raidiate his presence, naturally people will therefore be drawn to us, but so often we try and mask that smell. We are afraid of what people might think or we don't believe in our inheritance. Our inheritaqnce though is not primarily about saying "Oh today because I am stepping into my inheritance I will raise 5 people from the dead". What it's really about is loving Jesus and being loved by him. Compassion is a Godly quality which only comes from this love relationship. If you want to raise people from the dead or heal sick people you must first love and be loved by Christ. Then you will find that your attitude changes as you realise it was never about the healings or the raising of the dead in the first place.

But remember this. Jesus at the end of the day is the only thing that matters, if you did nothing else for the rest of your life but love and be loved by Jesus it would not be a wasted life. But this comes with a health warning.

Intamacy can be hard

I know it has only been a couple of days since my last post but I felt it was important as the days are quicly counting down before outreach to stay ontrack with what is going on, so expect a blog every week =) as there is only 3 weeks left of the lecture phase. WOW, time flys.

Anyway this past week has been on the 'Father Heart of God'. What I have learnt about the 'Father Heart of God' is that it is about intamacy, when we get to that place of intamacy we begin to learn what is really on Daddy's heart. I have also discovered that to have the Fathers heart can be very hazadous indeed and to ask for it is even more hazadous. At the heart of Daddy is love because he is love, so to get into that secret place is one of the most beautiful things as you discover just how much Daddy loves you. But the 'Father Heart of God' does not stop there with that comes with the realisation of how much Daddy loves oter people too, people we hate, people he hurt us, people we have judged. Daddy has a heart for the lost, a heart for the broken many of which we would call terrorists and the like.

I have also begunto understand to have the Fathers heart is to hate sin as much as he does. Many of us are beginning to understand and experience that to have Daddy's heart is to experience it, it has for many of us become an emotional response we have begun to grieve just as God grieves over the troubles of his children. Sometimes it comes as tears, other times it has come as physical pain. The 'Father Heart of God' is intense. In short it means to be closer connected to Daddys heart.

I want to also share how Daddy has been giving me a Father heart. It has been anointed over me that I will become a Father figure to many specifically to the South African children and to the lost. Specfically those who have alkready heard the gospel message but have not understood it or have not been trained properly in it so they do not understand what it means to step fully into the inheritance which theres now. And in short I will say it as begun and as I have been asking for more the Fathers heart Daddy has been giving it too me, me in small doses it would seem. My heart is really growing for the young South African children God has been showing me the hopelessness that they feel and all the joy that has been robbed from them as many have lost Mothers and Fathers and are having to support a family of children when they are only 12 years old themselves. Many of them don't have homes and many are infected with diesease and viruses.

But I would like to ask you to keep praying that Daddy releases more of Fathers heart into mine that I would share in deeper intamacy with him. Your prayers as you know as I have been saying repeatedly have been having powerful effects so I ask you to continue.
